Get to know us
Two business graduates, a wedding, and a dream that became a world trip
We're Justin & Justyna – from university in Augsburg to Lindau, from office life to a life without a return flight. Here's how it all began.
How it all began
Our Story
First encounter
We met during our Business Administration studies in Augsburg – more precisely, during freshman orientation week. What started as a first contact quickly turned into something more, and we became a couple.
A shared internship at BMW
While still studying, we both completed an internship in the controlling department at BMW in Munich – already a lovely shared chapter back then.
Moving to Lindau
After finishing our degrees, we moved together to Lindau, Justin's hometown. Justyna is originally from Augsburg. Five years in the workforce followed – both of us as data analysts, focused on data modeling and visualization in Power BI, Qlik Sense, and Databricks.
The wedding & the honeymoon that changed everything
We got married and flew to Thailand for a four-week honeymoon. We explored the country and realized just how fulfilling travel is for us, and how much joy we find in discovering new cultures. That's the exact moment the idea of a world trip was born.
The leap into the unknown
We both quit our jobs, gave up our apartment, and sold almost everything we owned. On April 1st, 2025, it began: first stop London, followed by two months in the USA.
380 days on the road – and counting
After 3.5 months in Central America and the USA, we spent four months back in Germany (working for two of them), before part two of our journey kicked off on November 12th. Since April 1st, 2025, we've now been traveling for 380 days.

Justyna Süß
Hi, I love getting to know people, cultures, and new experiences, and I throw myself into every adventure with enthusiasm. Whether it's spontaneous activities or small discoveries off the beaten path – I find something special in everything, and I love collecting memories to last a lifetime.
Fun fact: When it comes to food, I love being surprised and trying anything – the more unusual, the better!

Hi, I love spontaneously diving into new adventures and letting things come my way. At the same time, I always keep an eye on our finances so we can enjoy our trip for as long as possible – I take care of accommodation, flights, and all the organizational stuff.
Fun fact: Once I've found a dish I like, it stays my favorite – in Sri Lanka it was Kottu, in Thailand Pad Thai. Nothing else really makes it onto my plate after that.
